Use 2/18 AWG NON –SHIELDED WIRE                                  

NL3000 Installation 

Main Monitor and sub-Monitors Installation 

·        Connect 18/2 AWG wire between monitor DR1 terminals and door unit Monitorterminals. POLARITY IS NOT IMPORTANT between the main monitor and camera 

·       Connect the power cable at the back plate of the monitor. DO NOT PLUG POWER SUPPLY INTO AC OUTLET UNTIL WIRING IS COMPLETED
If sub-Monitor/s are used please refer to the subMonitor Installation instructions  

·      Secure back plate to wall, for wall mount installations. Plug connector of main monitor into the back plate terminal. Attach the main Monitor to the back plate 

·       After all wiring is completed and all monitors are secured to the back plate, plug in the power supply 

ADDING WIRE/OPERATING FEW MONITORS FROM ONE TRANSFORMER

Up to 30’ of cable can be added on the 24VDC low voltage section only, between the transformer output and the input of the small voltage box. For longer distances or to provide power to several monitors from one source use any UL 110V/24VDC transformer rated as follows: 2 monitors – 2 Amp. 3 monitors – 3 Amp., 4 monitors – 3.5-4 Amp., 5-6 monitors – 5 Amp. These rating are approximate and depend on total length of wire used.
